Fastest response so far: friends were adopting a baby, birth mother changed her mind. My wife fired up a novena to St Joseph, an hour later the girl changed her mind and the remainder of the novena was prayed in thanksgiving.

I don't check in often enough - I didn't realize you'd moved to Texas!Bill Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17764579160852643673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5774317.post-1153188400112665632006-07-17T21:06:00.000-05:002006-07-17T21:06:00.000-05:00We prayed a novena to St. Joseph for the sale of o...We prayed a novena to St. Joseph for the sale of our home, but it wasn't until we prayed to Our Lady of Gualalupe (a photo of her image) that we got our house sold.

Congratulations on your new position!

God bless you,
JeanJean Heimannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337901330501175087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5774317.post-1152892058294923992006-07-14T10:47:00.000-05:002006-07-14T10:47:00.000-05:00I can't agree with Patrick. Leaving the statue on a family altar and praying a novena to that saint asking his intercession IS.

In Christ's peace and joy,

Robin L. in TXRobin L. in TXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06468880305042789244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5774317.post-1152873516503346092006-07-14T05:38:00.000-05:002006-07-14T05:38:00.000-05:00I question how superstitious this really is. I'd rather have someone bury a statue to remind them that they are counting on a saint to help them than to wallow in useless desperation. Though it does remind me of an older woman I knew who used to pray, "St. Joseph, if you don't answer this petition, I'll go to St. Jude." She said this petition worked for her every time.Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08381087750301180720noreply@blogger.com
